WSG 50 - setup made easy!
New electric parallel gripper with integrated web server
With the 50 WSG Weiss Robotics brings the first of a new generation of high-tech electrical grippers on the market. In addition to Profibus DP, CAN and RS232, the WSG 50 is the first gripper having a built-in Ethernet TCP/IP interface. Using a standard Web browser, the WSG 50 can be setup in a comfortable and easy way. The installation of additional software is not required.
Due to its integrated part detection and its high positioning accuracy, the WSG 50 is able to execute gripping commands in a time optimized manner. This will essentially unload the higher-level process control. In addition, the WSG 50 is especially suited for difficult applications, since its functionality can be individually adapted by the client using the built-in and easy-to-learn scripting language. All program scripts are stored onto a built-in memory card.
Integrated Sensor Interface
As the first electrical gripper, the WSG 50 has an electrical sensor interface integrated into its base jaws - the basis for a direct integration of various sensors into the process of gripping. By this means he is the ideal device for sophisticated automation solutions, which require a high degree of flexibility and sensitivity for the gripping process. Together with the optional force measurement finger WSG-FMF, the WSG 50 can even acquire and precisely control the load applied to the gripped part.
